A few things to keep in mind when planning your shuttle.
Book Ahead
Same-day shuttles are sometimes available, but we recommend booking at least a day in advance to guarantee your ride — especially during peak season.
Group Discounts
Traveling with a trail family? Group rates are available. The more hikers, the better the deal. Give us a call with your group size for pricing.
Gear Friendly
Full packs, trekking poles, bear canisters — bring it all. Our vehicles are set up for hikers, not commuters. We've got room for your gear.
Weather Cancellations
Mountain roads can get dicey. If conditions are unsafe, we'll work with you to reschedule. Safety first — always.

Which trailheads do you shuttle to?
Elk Garden, Massey Gap, Dickey Gap, and Bear Tree Gap, plus Damascus. If you need somewhere else in the Mount Rogers area, call and ask — we know the roads.
How much does a shuttle cost?
It depends on the trailhead and the size of your group, so give us a call on (276) 280-6253 and we'll quote you.
How far ahead do I need to book?
The more notice the better, particularly on autumn weekends when Grayson Highlands is busy and we're already running. If you're staying with us, arrange the shuttle when you book your bed.
Can you shuttle a group?
Yes, though it depends on numbers and how much gear you're carrying. Tell us the group size when you call so we can send the right vehicle.
What if I come off the trail early or run late?
Agree a fallback with us before you set off, because there's little to no cell signal across most of this section and we won't be able to reach you mid-hike. Tell us your realistic pace rather than your best one, and we'll stage the pickup properly.
Do I need to be staying with you to book a shuttle?
No. We run shuttles for anyone hiking the area, whether or not you're spending the night here.
